From ChargePAK^® to SnoozeHandle^®, PURE products are packed with innovative features, many of which are exclusive to PURE and world-firsts for DAB digital radio.

ChargePAK

A rechargeable ChargePAK^® enables truly portable listening without an endless supply of expensive and polluting batteries. You can either purchase a ChargePAK as an optional accessory for your ChargePAK-Ready radio or choose a model which has an integrated ChargePAK (ChargePAK-Inside), such as the weatherproof Oasis. Simply plug your ChargePAK-enabled radio into the mains to charge. ChargePAK is available as three models, the original C6L the compact, extra-long-life E-1 and the B-1.

CharkePAL B1 is available for: ONE Mini

ChargePAK E-1 is available for EVOKE-1S only.

CharkePAL C6L is available for: Élan DX40, Élan RV40, EVOKE-2XT, EVOKE-3 and ONE.

ChargePAK-Inside is a feature of: Move, Oasis and PocketDAB 1500.

Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)

Some stations broadcast an Electronic Programme Guide, which gives up to seven days programme listings, making it easy to pre-select and record the programmes you like.

Available on: DMX-60, EVOKE-3 and Legato II.

Intellitext

DAB digital radio can deliver much more than just crystal clear audio. Intellitext^® is a powerful feature that gives you on-demand access to news headlines, sports results and other extra information. With the number of stations broadcasting extra services expanding, Intellitext could change the way you interact with radio.

Available on: EVOKE-1S, TEMPUS-1S, Siesta, Chronos II, DMX-60, Élan DX40, Élan RV40, Legato II and ONE.

iVOX

Uses built-in recorded speech to provide selectable voice feedback for anything from the time, to your alarm settings to the full set-up of the radio – it can even spell out DAB scrolling text. And it’s easy to adjust the amount of voice feedback using the dedicated iVOX™ button.

Available on SONUS-1XT only.

ReVu

ReVu™ enables you to pause and rewind live radio at the touch of a button. From the moment you begin listening to a DAB station, the audio is saved to internal memory, so you can rewind the current station and listen again for up to 30 minutes, depending on the product. Insert an SD card and you can rewind to the beginning of a track or programme and record to listen again later.

With ReVu you need never miss a moment of your favourite radio shows.

Available on: DMX-60, Élan RV40, EVOKE-3, Highway and Legato II.

SD Card slot for recording and playback

A Secure Digital (SD) card slot enables you to record up to 30 hours of your favourite radio programmes to a portable memory card of up to 2GB capacity. (Based on a typical 128 kbps DAB broadcast.) Use this feature with the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) and you can select which programmes you’d like to record from the listings for the next seven days. Either listen to your recordings later or transfer the SD card to your PC or portable music player.

You can also play MP3 music files from SD card, with full ID3 tag support (artist, album and genre).

Available on: DMX-25 (playback only), DMX-60, EVOKE-3 and Legato II.

SnoozeHandle

Ever reached for an alarm snooze button only to miss and knock over a bedside lamp? Choose a portable radio from PURE that features our handy SnoozeHandle^® and you can get an extra ten minutes sleep in style. One touch of the gracefully curved handle is all it takes to snooze an alarm, or gently illuminate the clock at night.

Available on: EVOKE-3, TEMPUS-1XT, TEMPUS-1S and SONUS-1XT.

textSCAN

textSCAN™ enables you to pause and control the scrolling text broadcast by DAB and FM stations. If you miss a song title or website address, it’s simple to pause the text, scroll back and check the details you need.

Available on: Chronos CD, Élan DX40, Élan RV40, Move, ONE, Chronos iDock, Chronos II, EVOKE-1S, TEMPUS-1S and PocketDAB 1500.

USB for product upgrades

A USB input means that you can upgrade your product with any new features and improvements that become available. Upgrades and full instructions are posted on the support pages, and if you’ve registered your product we’ll send you an e-mail to inform you when an upgrade is available. Our commitment to innovation and after-sales service is demonstrated by USB inputs across our range: it was thanks to a USB upgrade that owners of the Bug became the first listeners in the world to experience the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) feature.

USB for Playback

The DMX-25 micro system allows you to insert a Flash drive into its USB host port to listen to MP3 and WMA files.
