Solving the problem

1. If the amplifier is completely dead, make sure it isn't simply a fuse that has blown

To check the Sirocco amplifier fuse, turn Sirocco off, disconnect it from the power, and lever out the little fuse drawer just underneath where the power plug goes into the amp. The fuse is clear, so you should be able to see whether it is intact or not. 

  • If it has blown there is a spare in the drawer. 
  • If it hasn't blown, then check the fuse in the plug.

2. Make sure you have the latest version of the user guide

If you don't have the latest user guide, download it now before going through the steps below, in Acrobat PDF format v3.

If you have the latest user guide, then these simple checks could solve the problem quickly and easily.

  • Go through the Troubleshooting section of the user guide.
  • Check that all the connections are correct.
  • Make sure your audio source isn't at fault, by checking with headphones.
