Complete home cinema speaker system
DigiTheatre DTS consists of a dedicated centre speaker with built-in decoder,
four satellite speakers and a subwoofer with integrated multi-channel amplifier
delivering a massive 220W true RMS. The centre speaker’s integrated control
panel provides adjustment of all system functions.
DTS surround sound for DVD movies
Advanced high-performance DSP enables decode of the latest mind-blowing DTS
(Digital Theater Systems) soundtracks and the new-format DTS and Dolby Digital
Audio CDs.
Backward compatibility with Dolby Digital
Fully compatible with earlier surround sound standards, DigiTheatre DTS fully
supports Dolby Digital 5.1 (AC-3) as well as Dolby Pro Logic material played
on your NICAM VCR or TV. DigiTheatre DTS also plays stereo surround sound from
any standard stereo input with the choice of ‘Hall’ or ‘Theatre’
effect modes.
Hi-fi quality components
The centre speaker contains a four inch full-range bass/mid drive unit, with
coaxial mounted tweeter for clear, powerful dialogue. Each of the four satellite
speakers, as used in VideoLogic’s award-winning Sirocco Crossfire speaker
system, have twin Audax drive units housed in ultra-compact acoustically tuned
cabinets. The subwoofer has a massive eight inch long-throw bass drive unit
for thunderous low frequency effects.
Multiple inputs
Optical and coaxial digital (S/PDIF) inputs enable you to connect to any DVD
player or DVD-capable PC (with a digital output) for Dolby Digital or DTS surround
sound, or to CD/MiniDisc/PC with digital output for stereo surround sound. An
input is also available for other analog stereo sources such as NICAM VCR/TV,
CD, MiniDisc or PC.
Easy to set up and use
With its integrated amplifier and decoder DigiTheatre DTS is easy to connect
and easy to use. System controls are integrated into the centre speaker and
all system functions are accessible directly from this control panel or via
the supplied remote control.
