RADIO stars don't come much better than this.
The LEGATO from PURE DIGITAL is a DAB digital radio (with FM too) and CD micro system in a sort of retro stylee.
If you didn't know already, but I'm sure you did, DAB is the latest radio technology giving you a host of extra stations not available on your main dial with a lot less snap and crackle.
And as well as integrating this into the hi-fi, the Legato also allows you to pause and rewind live DAB broadcasts while you go and make a cup of tea or answer a call of nature.
The memory gives enough space for 99 DAB and 99 FM presets while a timer allows the recording of your favourite radio shows direct to an externally connected minidisk or CD burner.
The onboard CD drive offers MP3-playback and although the cherry-wood veneer may be an acquired taste, the system is bound to be a winner when it is released in the summer.
Expect to pay around £349.99 for the privilege of having this on your sideboard.
