This radio rocks. Mac Format, June 2003
Ever wonder where your licence fee goes? Besides being spanked on celebrity salaries and the Fame Academy TV set, the BBC is putting its monetary might behind digital radio - DAB. Offering supposedly perfect audio and increased capacity for stations, it's beginning to take off as people make the switch from FM radios.
This pocket device is one of the first personal DAB players, letting you listen to digital radio on the go. It will give you 16 hours of digital listening before needing a recharge. It automatically tunes to the stations available where you are, meaning you just twiddle the joystick to select which one to listen to. It'll remember your ten favourite stations, and has a bright LCD display to tell you what you're listening to. And there's EQ settings to tweak the sound. This radio rocks.
