Although much bigger and heavier than its rivals, this radio is altogether more pleasing to use thanks for the tough, coated-aluminium casing, informative display and intuitive single-button volume/tuning controls. At 16 hours, battery life is good by digital portable standards, making this a practical proposition out and about. The aerial, which is integrated into the supplied earphone, provides decent reception... The sound is perfectly respectable and better than rivals portables…
