Like other PURE digital radios, it is easy to tune and sounds great, but this has added features such as the SnoozeHandle. One touch to the handle and it enters snooze mode, with the alarm coming on again after eight minutes. There is also a combined sleep timer and alarm, so you can fall asleep listening to one station and wake up to another (or the alarm). Different users can have their own alarms, and differnt settings can be made for the weekends. The clock is automatically updated for BST. There is an intigrated Hi-Fi speaker and a digital optical output for connecting to high performance systems.

If that wasn't enough, it also has a record funtion. Hook up a record device with Syn-Record and the Tempus-1 will ensure up to nine of your favourite programmes are recorded.
