This sounds better than it should - that is for a small veneer box with one speaker, it's surprisingly loud and crystal clear. You can buy a second speaker and in anticipation of future upgrades, it has a USB connection so you can hook it up to your PC for downloads. Plus you can connect it to MiniDisc or CD recorder.

But the coolest thing about the Tempus is the 'SnoozeHandle' which not only acts as your snooze button when the alarm clock kicks in, but in the darkness of your bedroom, you can touch it and make the display light up and display the time.
