The PURE DRX-701ES is designed to receive digital radio broadcasts, which should be hiss and crackle free. It features a USB port, which will come in handy in the future for software upgrades and when data starts to be broadcast over the air. With enough connectors to shake a stick at and high-performance digital to analogue converters, this definitely looks like one to watch. It is available to buy now for £250.
