…There is little to find fault with the DRX-701ES. The more sensitive front end, much faster tuning, and signal quality display make installing the unit a lot quicker and easier. The additional preset memories, remote powering, and variable headphone output have also brought very worthwhile operational improvements. I’m sure the USB port will prove its worth if functional improvements become available in the future, too.

The machine worked flawlessly during the review period and even managed to pull in a perfect service from a distant regional multiplex, way off to the side of my directional aerial.
