DAB is the big new thing in radio. Take this rack-mounted radio from DAB leaders PURE, for instance. It's fascia is an exercise in design restraint; no flashing lights and twiddly knobs, just a simple attractive silver plate with three buttons and a single station selector. As with all DAB radios, information about the station you've selected scrolls across a backlit LCD window.The sound quality is excellent. For those into pure sonic quality, the DRX is a tough on to beat. It has, after all, won a clutch of awards from the specialist press. Keenly priced too.
