The most affordable hybrid tuner to date is a cracker What Hi-Fi?, July 2003
The most affordable hybrid tuner to date is a cracker, able to pull in all those digital stations and also give fine quality on FM.
With a good signal and well-engineered transmissions, however, the PURE is equally good on FM and digital radio, meaning that you could easily use it on FM for strong stations and those not available on digital, switching to DAB for the likes of BBC 6 and 7, OneWord and so on. The overall balance is powerful, clean and crisp, making this a fine tuner by any standards, and a very good buy given its flexibility.
