Problems upgrading your radio's software? Some tips.

If you have any problems upgrading the software on the DRX-701ES then start by following these simple guidelines.

Ensure your system is not running any memory intensive TSR's in the background like crash guards, virus detectors etc.

If your system is an Athlon based system, you must ensure you're running the latest USB and chipset drivers for your PC. Download these from your motherboard manufacturer.

Ensure you run the downloaded software updater program from your root drive (C drive) and not a partitioned drive.

Try not to connect the radio to the PC via an external hub. Use the dedicated USB ports on the PC. If you are using an external hub, ensure that it is independently powerd.
